Mom's of Divorce

They never say marriage is forever in your vows...I have witnessed that 100%. My husband and i have decided that divorce is the right choice...for us not her...my daughter..who still asks when am i going to see you mommy....is it wrong to hate and love your ex husband at the same time. He at one point was wonderful, but since lawyers have been involved he has gone into the transformation into a person I don't even recogonize. I love my daughter, I have made horrible mistakes in parenthood but I love my daughter and I'm struggling with what to do with a ex-husband who wants to crusivize me!!

Ella Ray goes to School

So my little girl started pre-school 2 weeks ago and today was official the first NO CRY day!!!!! Her daddy drops her off in the mornings and there is always a drama fest when he leaves and today she went right in, proud and hugged her new best friend Reece.....i'm so glad because I have never been more worried then the past 2 weeks about anything in my life. It's been such a transition for me to let her go to pre-school but I know she loves it!! I've taken some pictures but will post them later!

Little Miss Farmer

So we went to Indiana to see yet another one of the branches from my family tree (anyone who knows me knows there are SEVERAL branches....I would have to draw a diagram to explain my family tree it's so confusing) anyhow, as you know we own a horse farm there and Ella Ray is officially a country girl. I don't know how on earth she has my genes in her because she is my sister Kinsey's baby!!! She acts like her Kinsey mama (that's what ella ray calls her), she looks like her and let me tell you her favorite is Kinsey Mama!!! I believe if I asked Ella Ray if she would like to live with her and leave mommy and daddy she wouldn't hesitate to say YES!! Here are some pictures of the fun we had. The other girls in the pictures are my 2 nieces, Ali and Lexi.

Camping Trip 2008.....

So Buck and I decided to take Ella Ray and Howard camping this past weekend since the weather was going to be so nice. We knew it would be a gamble taking a 22 month old in a tent for the weekend in the woods, but we said "what the heck".....well our gamble paid off, Ella Ray had so much fun. We went to Henry Horton State Park and they have an Olympic sized swimming pool and a giant kiddy pool, so we spent the whole day Saturday swimming. Then Ella Ray and I went the their "snake" show where we learned all about the different snakes in TN and Ella Ray fell in love with a Black Rat snake named "Mitch"...you will see she loved petting "Mitch"....then at sundown they gave all the kids a hay ride around the entire state park. We really did have a lot of fun roasting hot dogs and marshmallows and hiking around with her this weekend, she is definitely an outdoors girl!!!

So lots of people know how much I LOVE my 4 legged son, Howard....this is why....He is by far the COOLEST dog I know....

New Job Venture

Ok so since i'm still staying at home, i'm going to start monogramming things for people from my house. I'm charging $10.00 per item, no matter how many letters.
