Ella Ray goes to School

So my little girl started pre-school 2 weeks ago and today was official the first NO CRY day!!!!! Her daddy drops her off in the mornings and there is always a drama fest when he leaves and today she went right in, proud and hugged her new best friend Reece.....i'm so glad because I have never been more worried then the past 2 weeks about anything in my life. It's been such a transition for me to let her go to pre-school but I know she loves it!! I've taken some pictures but will post them later!

Little Miss Farmer

So we went to Indiana to see yet another one of the branches from my family tree (anyone who knows me knows there are SEVERAL branches....I would have to draw a diagram to explain my family tree it's so confusing) anyhow, as you know we own a horse farm there and Ella Ray is officially a country girl. I don't know how on earth she has my genes in her because she is my sister Kinsey's baby!!! She acts like her Kinsey mama (that's what ella ray calls her), she looks like her and let me tell you her favorite is Kinsey Mama!!! I believe if I asked Ella Ray if she would like to live with her and leave mommy and daddy she wouldn't hesitate to say YES!! Here are some pictures of the fun we had. The other girls in the pictures are my 2 nieces, Ali and Lexi.

Camping Trip 2008.....

So Buck and I decided to take Ella Ray and Howard camping this past weekend since the weather was going to be so nice. We knew it would be a gamble taking a 22 month old in a tent for the weekend in the woods, but we said "what the heck".....well our gamble paid off, Ella Ray had so much fun. We went to Henry Horton State Park and they have an Olympic sized swimming pool and a giant kiddy pool, so we spent the whole day Saturday swimming. Then Ella Ray and I went the their "snake" show where we learned all about the different snakes in TN and Ella Ray fell in love with a Black Rat snake named "Mitch"...you will see she loved petting "Mitch"....then at sundown they gave all the kids a hay ride around the entire state park. We really did have a lot of fun roasting hot dogs and marshmallows and hiking around with her this weekend, she is definitely an outdoors girl!!!

She's getting so big!

Here are some updated pictures of Ella Ray...the older she gets the less I am tending to take pictures....she doesn't sit still hardly for them anymore, plus she is in to EVERYTHING so it's hard to get her snapshot!! Some of these are from The Monkey's Treehouse where she LOVES to play....Also, I think Ella Ray has found her calling as a hairdresser...didn't she do a good job on Daddy's hair...Buck is going to kill me for sharing this...oh well...it's a GREAT laugh you have to admit!

Her Big Girl Bed!!!

I'm so excited, Ella Ray has moved out of the crib and into the BIG GIRL BED!!!!! She has been 110% great about it, she goes right to bed at 8:00 and doesn't get out until 7:00 a.m. and hasn't come to get in our bed yet....this is the first full week of the big girl bed and I couldn't be prouder!!! I'll post some more pics of her later....she is definately not a baby anymore...it's so sad to see that empty crib.....

AHHH SUMMER TIME...with NO AIR CONDITIONING

OK so the saga has continued.....it's day 15 in our NO AIR CONDITIONING challenge from God....I swear I'll be a better Christian if he will just grant this air conditioning guy the wisdom to FIX THE DAMN UNIT!!!!!!! So now today, Friday, the coils in the 200 degree attic have gone bad so he's up there now replacing that unit.....on the flip side we did get a 2nd showing from some people who looked at our house last Sunday (yes it was 95 degrees upstairs and they probably think we are some kind of Amish or really "green" conservatives or something) but nonetheless, they loved it and it's between us and 1 other house. They are coming back Monday to final pick their house....so PRAY PRAY PRAY they pick ours!!!! Meanwhile, I'm off to Kroger just to walk in the air conditioned building for a few hours and sample the free snacks!!!

Still no AIR CONDITIONING

I know our ancestors walked 5 miles to school in the snow, didn't have anything remotely related to a computer or anything but honestly how the HELL DID THEY LIVE WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!! The idiots at our warranty company ordered the wrong part on Monday so we have been without air conditioning for officially 10 days....I have probably lost 10 lbs in sweat...YIPPEE!!! Anyways, he is SUPPOSED to come today to fix the compressor, meanwhile Ella Ray and I have devised a great plan of standing in front of the freezer with the fan and blowing the ice cold air on us for like 2 min at a time, just long enough for us to catch a breeze and my chicken not to thaw!!!! haha!!!

UGGGHHH The Stomach BUG

So I was just bragging to my girlfriend the other day that Ella Ray has never really been sick...i mean we had the "mouth, feet, hand" virus but that's all and she was 20 month...nanny nanny boo boo....well God really handed it to me in spades this weekend. First off Friday morning I woke up in a puddle of sweat in my bed...that's right every southerners nightmare had come true...the air conditioning has gone out in the middle of summer!!!!!! So with that, I took at steam bath in my shower only to get out and start sweating all over again. Looked at the thermostat and it read 91 degrees....what????? So thankfully I realized we had the 2-10 Home Warranty that covers all this kind of catastrophe and smiled thinking "by 4:00 Oprah show I'll be cooled down on my comfy couch".....NO SUCH LUCK...I mean you pay $400.00 + dollars for a warranty and they can't get someone out here till MONDAY? Are you kidding me? that's 3 days of scorching heat!!! So Buck gets home around 6:00 and everyone knows he is thermally challenged anyways, I mean the man sweats in 60 degree weather. Well he walks in the door and you would have thought he was Frosty the Snowman melting rapidly!!! So our whole weekend of cooking out on the grill, relaxing at home all went to hell in a hand basket. Buck decides lets just go grab some dinner when I realize Ella Ray isn't looking so hot....she has been warm all day and I threw it up to the NO AIR CONDITIONING in our house....I pass it off and we go to Chili's for dinner....Ella Ray doesn't eat....SIGN # 1 she is sick...I mean my kid EATS....so I think maybe she just is so hot from the NO AIR CONDITIONING that it has zapped her appetite.....NO SUCH LUCK...that night we slept downstairs where it was cooler and she tossed and turned all night and got warmer and warmer. Around 5:00 a.m. she woke up and I yelled at Buck (who conveniently got to sleep all alone on the comfy couch) to come and get her and go get her some milk.....he only got to the top of the stairs before I heard "OH MY GOD SHE JUST PUKED ALL OVER ME"....well I have to admit at first I did laugh to myself saying "haha God got you back for making me sleep with her last night"...I get upstairs and my poor little baby is like a rag doll shaking and so scared. Immediately of course Buck wanted to call 911, the National Guard and the Pope himself as this was a true Emergency to him. I convinced him let's just call the doctor and find out what's wrong...knowing it was probably my cooking that made her sick since I'm such a horrible chef! Anyways, to make a long story short, she had a virus, that lasted ALL WEEKEND!!!! I never knew how many cool contraptions you can buy on infomercials during the hours of 1 a.m. - 4 a.m. I really have to get that total gym that will work me to looking like Cindy Crawford, along with the power juicer to boost my metabolism and if all else fails I'll buy the whoody hoo boob pusher upper band that makes my boobs look fantastic! What a weekend!!!

She's 20 months going on 13....

So Ella Ray has decided to "mock" everything I do lately and that includes some great, funny things as well as things I'm not so proud of. The fact that when she gets mad at me and points her finger and says "bad girl" is not a highlight of my mothering skills but as you will see in the 2 videos, she has inherited my dancing abilities and make-up applying skills...two things that are essential in becoming a DIVA one day like her mom!!!

More Florida time with the Baldwin Family

We spent 10 days with Buck's family down at his parents home in Bonita Springs/Naples Florida where Ella Ray got to see her Aunt Mimi, Uncle Dan and cousin Mason for the first time. They live in New Jersey and with everyone so spread out we haven't had a chance to get everyone together until now. They were SO PRECIOUS together. Just thought I would share some updated pictures of Ella Ray since it's been a while since I posted some.

Beach Bums...

I just got home from spending the last week at the beach with my family, (Gran Kacky, Poppa, Uncle Selby and Aunt Kinsey) as Ella Ray would call them. This trip has been a tradition in my Duncan family for 20 years and it's always so much fun to see all our beach sites every year. Ella Ray loved the ocean this year and I will say it was MUCH easier this year with her. Last year she was 8 months old and it was a CHORE to get her and all her "baby gear" down to the ocean every day, only to have her cry or have a poopy diaper 5 min after we got down to the beach. Now our condo is on the ocean but the beach is like a football field long and trekking through the sand with a baby, her bouncy seat, food, bottles, cooler and all other swim gear SUCKED last year, however, this year it was MUCH MUCH better. Ella Ray can walk and carry her own towel and she no longer requires so much "gear" to function at the beach. It might have taken us 30 min to walk to the ocean but we eventually got there. The beach was full of jelly fish this year so we didn't get much ocean time except for the last 2 days, in which Ella Ray didn't get out of the water more then 5 min. She was a regular mermaid!!! She successfully learned to go underwater and blow bubbles and swim with no floatation devices. Something I have been actively teaching her since May and for a 20 month old that is VERY AWESOME!!! The big news was that Ella Ray got her first boyfriend, an older man, Will, who celebrated his 3rd birthday while we were down there. Her and Will played together everyday in the baby pool and we hated to leave him. All in all it was a fun and eventful trip, as always with the Duncan clan we had drama, my dad got stung by a stingray, my brother stung by a jellyfish, and I got sun blisters all over my chest...but it wouldn't be a vacation without a little drama! The big news was that our family has grown and we adopted 2 new hermit crabs named Ramona and Beazus. As you will see in the picture Ella Ray was very happy to adopt them, now daddy not so much, just more animals to feed and clean haha....oh well Ella Ray loves them that's what counts right? Now it's back to regular life in Franklin. Still trying to sell the house, no offers yet but we are still hopeful!!! Something about the beach is so relaxing and calming you hate to come back to normal life and leave that serenity......

One Cool Chick.....

So as most of you know I do acting/singing as a "hobby" that I wish would pay the bills, but as of right now it's more of an extra thing.....Anyways, Monday night I shot the new Gretchen Wilson video and promo for "Save Your Grace" on CMT. It was her "Work Hard, Play Harder" video. First off it was in the middle of NOWHERE TN in a big field with a barn the age of the state of Tenn. However what I thought initially would be a "cattle call" kind of shoot (i.e. where there are tons of people and you might be seen in the video and you might not) I was surprisingly wrong. There were only about 20 of us and we had very ample camera time. It was a lot of fun from 6:00pm-1:30am and I will have to say out of all the "celebrities" I have meet through doing my acting, Gretchen Wilson is by far one of the coolest, down to earth, REAL, chicks I have met. She was friendly, responsive to us and rocked out during the video. Her band and crew were super cool and I really felt like I was having fun while working. The highlight had to be when we were about to wrap she passed a bottle of Jack Daniels around and everyone took a shot!! MY KIND OF WOMAN haha....anyways, most of my jobs are just that jobs, but this was actually a lot of fun and I'm so glad there are still celebs out there who don't forget where they come from and and damn proud of it!

My new leaf....

So I have come to the conclusion that it's time for a new chapter in the "Kristin Saga of Life" Biography. I didn't have a awakening revelation or moment of pure epiphany but it's been an ongoing 3 month revelation that my life just isn't where I wanted it to be at 29 years old. Most of my determination has been from reading a fabulous book called "Eat, Pray, Love", which I highly recommend to anyone wanting a little self finding. I only wish I had the money to take off for a year and self discover over 3 different countries and come home with a sense of self peace and happiness only known by Mother Theresa or Gandhi or something but realistically I'm stuck in Franklin, TN right now and the closest I'll get to visiting other countries is heading to the sushi place for dinner, the nail salon where all the ladies speak some form of Asian language and I swear they are all talking about how funky my feet are, or walmart where I could get my fill of Spanish/Mexican influence. The whole idea of where you are in life is mind boggling to me, and without getting way to deep for my own good, and I can only speak as a woman, since that's what I am, that every woman needs time to reflect on where she is in life and where she is going. I think today it's so hard to balance having a functional family life with the big house, white pickett fence, 2-3 children and maybe a dog or cat and also having a career to which you feel self sufficient and satisfied as an individual. Don't get me wrong there are millions of woman working/mothering all at the same time and I truly take my hat off for you, I honestly don't know where you get the energy!!! However I chose the stay at home route and for the purpose of shorting things (stay at home mothers) will now be referred to SAM's in my blogs as an abbreviation....so that is the path I chose and there are many days where I wonder why? I know there are mothers who would love to be in my position if possible but trust me I think everyone should spend a day in someone else's shoes and then really reflect on whether they made the right "life" decision...better yet, spend a month, you could get my daughter on a good day and you REALLY need to experience the 12 hour whine/cry/through tantrum days to get a overall SAM experience! With that said, I think I have decided to find a job outside the home. I love my daughter, she is the most perfect thing in the world, however I am beginning to think I would be a better mom if I was a working mother and had the adult interaction, the freedom of completing and reward of bringing home a paycheck. Now I know there is going to be tons of Sam's in the world that think I'm crazy and that the reward of staying at home with your children is priceless but I miss all the things I gave up when I chose to be a SAM. Ok anyways, it's a damn good thing I'm a fast typer because in the time I have written this entry, Ella Ray has been asleep and I just realized I haven't peed today, eaten anything but left over poptart, haven't thought about thawing anything out for dinner, the dog hasn't been out all day, Dorothy my fish hasn't been fed in God knows how long and I just realized my mortgage was due on the first....crap and she has just decided to wake up......oh the joys of being a SAM

A New blog format

So I usually use this blog site as a means to share with the cyber world my activies as a stay at home mother with my daughter Ella Ray.....as you see there isn't much diversity in staying at home, it's usually the same routine of activites mixed up week to week. So with that said I have decided to take my friend, Cathiee's approach and use my blog as a therapy session to the outside reader. Maybe some of my blogs will make you laugh, some bore you death, and maybe some will just make you feel like your life is FABULOUS or CRAPPY compared to mine haha!!! Either way, my blog won't be here to offend anyone I'm just going to start telling it like it is, at least like it is in my mind :-)

Ready for an offer

So our house has now been on the market for a month....please see www.3112millbanklane.com to see our website, however having a 19 month old a 65 lb dog and an active lifestyle is NOT the greatest combo to keep a house "show ready". I honestly have never had such a clean house in all my life, even when we had a housekeeper she didn't keep it this clean. Anyways, Buck of course loves it, but I am ready to check out and stay in a hotel just so my daughter can play with her toys without me freaking out if she makes too much of a mess!!! Anyways, selling a house sucks and I just had to vent. Hope all is well and everyone is enjoying their summer time. We have found ourselves either in the pool or in the lake...either way the water is where it's at!!!

The Monkey's Treehouse

Ella Ray and I went to the coolest place on Friday!! It's called The Monkey's Treehouse. It's on Hwy 100 in the Bellvue area but it's well worth the drive. It's a giant indoor play area for little ones. All the mom's have a sitting area where they can talk and watch TV as their kids play in several different "Centers" ie. dress up stage, pretend market, balls, treehouse, sandbox, etc. The website is http://www.themonkeystreehouse.com/

I highly recommend you taking your little ones there to play and have a great "Mommy's Day out" with other moms!!!

Selling our House !!!!

So Buck and I have decided to put our house on the market. We have really been considering this for 6 + months but now have finally decided to bite the bullet so to speak. It's not that we don't LOVE our house, we are just looking to make life changes that might take us out of Tennessee and we want to have our options open and ready if the right opportunity comes!!! SOOOO...if you know anyone looking for a great family house, with 2846 sq. ft. 4 bedroom, 3 bath built in 2001 fully brick with brand new flooring, paint throughout entire home, brand new french doors and a great location, please tell them to email me for a showing!!!! It will be such a hard thing to leave this house but I know our adventures for our family are going to ROCK so I'm excited for the road to come!

Ella Ray goes to the Zoo

We spent the entire day at the Nashville Zoo today!! Ella Ray just about ran me to death!! She walked all over that zoo and LOVED every minute of it. We ate lunch with the monkey's and played with the Merkats (which quickly became her favorite) and fed all the animals in the petting zoo....Ella Ray made quick friends with her favorite goat and gave her lots and lots of hugs as you will see in the pictures!!! It was such a pretty day to get out and enjoy the weather!! But I'm pooped!!!!

Getting Older

Ok some might say I'm totally over reacting, however I will be 29 on March 29th, Saturday, and frankly, I'm not ready....I still feel 21 in my heart and the fact that when i wake up with puffy eyes and wrinkles in places I never knew existed and have a 17 month old that cries for my attention at 6:30 am and I don't acknowledge her till I have had at LEAST 2 cups of coffee, is that really an indication that I'm middle aged???? WHATEVER!! Who the hell every coined the phrase middle aged in the first place. I can still wake up at 5:30 am function all day with a 17 month old, an English bulldog that is needier than most children, do laundry, clean house, cook an average dinner and still party like a rock star till 2:00am. most weekends...that makes me young right?????????????? I really wish we could just celebrate our 27th year anniversary forever and when our children go to school and they ask...."What is your mother?"....Ella Ray can proudly say "she is Miss America and she is 27" haha!!! What a life huh!!! OK so when did people think that getting older was such a bad thing...?????????? I love my life, granted when i have too much to drink I pay 110% more for it the next morning, with a massive headache and horrible stomach aches but hey I'm still young....what the heck....I'm still that vivacious 22 year old that my husband met downtown Nashville when I could still fit in a size 8 mini skirt from Abercrombie and Fitch and pull of a "boobie" top without wearing a bra and the twins (breasts) still looked like breasts instead of stomach tumers sloping to their desmise on my belly haha!!!! I'm still young right!!!!! Power to the "middle age" group.....we are still Smokin' HOT!!!!!!!!!

Easter with Ella Ray

Ok so we went out of town to Indiana all week and then spent Easter in Kentucky with my 87 year old Granny. We went there so that we could take her to church for Easter since she doesn't drive.....anyways, we get up Sunday morning all fixed in our Easter best clothes, which by the way Ella Ray had the most PRECIOUS dress, and I go to take pictures of Ella Ray and what do you know....my camera battery is DEAD...that's right DEAD!!! I couldn't take 1 single picture of Ella Ray in her Easter outfit or with family!!!!! I could have killed the Kodak people for not making their cameras with disposable batteries so that I could run to K-Mart and pick some up!!!! So we are going to go to my mom's house this next weekend and re-play Easter and pretend it's Easter Sunday again so that we can get pictures of Ella Ray in her Easter dress with my mom's pet bunny, Copper.....
Happy Easter belated huh!

Old McElla Ray had a farm

We recently spent all of this past week in Alabama with my sister on her and her boyfriends farm. Ella Ray LOVED the horses....she is a regular cowgirl. Now I've never been one to ride on horses, my whole life all my sisters would jump on their horses and ride and you could always find me tagging along behind them on the old John Deer tracker...safe not able to buck you off haha! However, I think my daughter is going to go the riding route!!!! My sister Kinsey is so good with her and they recently had a baby horse this past week and they gave it to Ella Ray........she LOVES her horsey and promptly named it Miss Helen HumperELLA horsey....it is so cute....she is now entering the Little Miss Limestone County Rodeo Queen contest this spring....wish her luck....Yee Haw....

Doctor's Checkup

So I finally found out what was going on with me...I went to the doctor yesterday and found out my iron levels were extremely low, no surprise there, but also my thyroid wasn't working hardly at all....my TSH levels were extremely high, meaning my thyroid wasn't working properly...so with new medicine I should be back to my normal quirky self asap!!! I'm so glad it wasn't anything too terible...I know some of you have been wondering so I thought I would post the results so I wouldn't have to tell the story a million times haha! Hope all is enjoying the snow today! We are definately going to go play in it!!! Take care!

Ella Ray visits the Easter Bunny

So Saturday, my girlfriend called me to go see the Easter Bunny and have breakfast with him at Opry Mills Mall....at first I thought it was a not so good idea seeing as how at Christmas, Ella Ray was TERRIFIED of Santa Claus and we waited for 2 hours in that line just to have her become a leech on my leg and not go near the big guy!!! So when she said we would be having breakfast with the Easter Bunny, I could just imagine Ella Ray flying out the door in tears of fear. But of course, I went! We made crafts and ate breakfast and then BOOM we turned around and the BIG BUNNY was right behind us.....I thought Ella Ray was going to choke on her French Toast sticks but surprisingly, she screamed, not in fear but EXCITEMENT!!! She ran to him and gave him a hug and then even let him hold her!!! I WAS SHOCKED!!! I think it's because the Easter Bunny had really big glasses and she thought that was SO COOL that she had glasses like him!!! Maybe there is hope for next Christmas that she'll actually sit on Santa's knee....we will be keeping our fingers crossed for the next 9 months haha!!!

When did I wake up old?

So this morning I got out of bed, happened to look in the mirror and scared myself have to death!!! I was like "Oh my God, who is that person in the mirror and who's skin is that?" My birthday is coming up RAPIDLY and I'll be 29 on the 29th of March. They call it the "Golden Birthday" when you turn your same age as your birth day....I call it...The anniversary of me turning 27 haha. The fact is, over the last 5 years, my skin started sagging, my eyes get puffy in the mornings and I don't function unless I have 2 cups of coffee in my system first......WHAT THE *%&$? What happened to being able to party like a rock star till 3 am Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and still be able to wake up chipper on Monday morning at 6:00am and feel GREAT!!!! Getting old sucks, Buck, my husband, takes age so easily. He turned 30 last August and didn't think it was a big deal, me...I'm actively looking for a shrink to get me through my last year of being a twenty-something.....I don't know why I fear the 30's but something about almost being 30 scares me to death. I honestly feel 23 still in my head, however now my thighs, skin, wrinkles and sagging boobs tell me I'm not 23 but still in my head I'm not ready to get old or "adult" age haha......Where did all the past 5-6 years go? Most of them were spent in a fast paced working, partying, sleeping it off, then starting that hamster wheel all over again the next week and before I knew it, the last 5 years have FLOWN by!!! I got married, bought a house in the suburbs, had a baby and it all feels like a blink of an eye. If the 20's go by this fast, I can't imagine how the 30's, 40's etc will go by..........I guess I can just be hopeful and thank the good Lord that there are great Plastic Surgeons out there haha!

I MISS REQUIP

Ok so I have been having "episodes" during the day with blackouts, so one of the solutions that Buck has implemented until my bloodwork comes back next week is to take me off Requip. Now mind you, without that drug at night for Restless Leg Syndrome...I practically look like one of those people who has a SERIOUS case of Tourette Syndrome, minus the cussing and foul language. I actually laid down in bed around 8:45p.m. (yes i go to bed the same time as normal 70+ year olds) and by 10:30pm...I was seriously looking for a body of water to jump in and save myself since I was flopping around in the bed like a fish out of water. Now if you or anyone you know has RLS (restless leg syndrome), you will know that it is pure TORTURE to try and go to sleep. I think I gave Buck 3 or 4 charlie horses in the thighs, a black eye (just kidding) and Howard several kicks to the butt, before finally falling asleep somewhere around 2:00 am. I just hope to GOD they will put a rush emergency on my bloodwork because if it comes back that this Requip has been making me have my "episodes" then I'm calling the doctor for a double aputation of my legs!!!

Ella Ray says her name!!!

My baby is growing so fast that I'm having a hard time calling her a "toddler" but I guess that is what she is now!!! She loves to shake people's hands and say "nice to meet you" and now when you ask her "what's your name" she proudly replies "ewwa" .meaning "Ella"...it is by far the cutest things she has ever done......isn't it funny how we try so hard to teach them to grow up and talk and stuff and then you realize it all happens WAY to fast and I constantly find myself thinking "stop growing, your getting too big too fast".....I long for the days when she was a little baby snuggling in my arms............everyone says that once you have a child time flies and boy were they right!!!!!! Here she is with her new camping chair...she LOVES to lounge in it watching her favorite Noggin shows!!!

Ella Ray

Today was the funniest day, I just go home from AL picking up Ella Ray and she is SO SO SO excited to be home...it's like Christmas morning for her. She had been gone a week and missed her things so much. Also, today we stopped having babies friends come over. The situation just didn't work out on both ends and as sad as I was to see them leave, it will be nice to give my daughter back the 100% attention she deserves. She has been such a big helper over the past 2 months. She loved to give the babies their pacifiers, blankets and toys, however she wasn't always the best at sharing her mommy haha! As anyone who truly knows me, she has my quirky, crazy personality and when she wants something, darn it, she's going to get it. So there were days when I had to battle her in sharing her mommy time. Over all, the past 2 months have really taught me a lot about my relationship with Ella Ray and how much time and effort it takes mothers with multiples!!!!! I truly think God gives those who he knows can handle multiple babies, with twins, triplets, etc. I was almost crashing after 3 months haha! I'm thankful for the experiences and lessons, but really ready for the next chapter in my life and with Ella Ray.....she is growing up so fast, I don't want to miss a second of it!!! Take care and kiss your babies, they are so precious to have!

Missing my daughter

Ok so now I watch 1- 2 month old, 1- 3 month old and 1-4 month old. My uncle recently died and my sister came to pick up Ella Ray so that she could go on up to Kentucky. Well today as I sat watching 3 babies sleep I found myself missing my little Tennessee Tornado. Now most days I would be SO HAPPY to not have to clean up after or chase her around the house but today I was lonely. I missed chasing her and cleaning up after her and having her run through the hallway just to give me a hug....it's funny the things we take for granted when they aren't here...she truely is the sunshine in my day!
